FB misses an inch or so outside on Gameday, waist high, called a strike anyway. Marginal bad call there, 0-1
Change misses well low, inner half, 1-1
FB misses inside, but Torres goes after it, fouls it off the right side, 1-2
FB overthrown well high, 2-2.
Left that change in the zone below middle, lined to left, drops in for a leadoff single.

Cutter starts at his head up and in, makes Soto spin outathere, 1-0
Tries to push bunt a cutter down 3rd, bunts foul. 1-1
Sinker misses inside 3-4 inches at the knees, 2-1
Change dives well low, Soto starts and checks, the 3rd base ump says swing, but the side view says marginal at best.
Maybe a swing. Hard to say.
Cutter misses low/away 3-2
FB in the zone below and inside middle, he's late and on top, chops it to the left side, Rendon flips to Stefanic for the force, but two slow to turn two. Man on 1st, 1 down for Judge.
Catcher O'Hoppe has an equipment problem being taken care of.

FB inside, a tempt pitch, get him to chase it and foul it so Anderson gets ahead right away.
Misses the crushable FB waist high, middle-in, fouls it off. That was the pitch, Aaron, 0-2
FB at the high inside corner fouled back. Waiting for the right pitch to unload a dead fish on Judge.
Lost the grip on the change, misses way up and away, O'Hopper has to go way up to corral it and prvent the WP>
There's the dead fish, diving low near the corner away, Judge early and over it, K, 2 down.

Dead fish change in a FB count has Stanton flaling wildly over it and pulling open, too, 2-1
FB inside should be ball 3, but Stanton starts early, fouls it off, 2-2
Change above the zone, he lays off that one, 3-2

Made a mistake with the dead fish, left it in the zone below and outside middle, and Stanton almost got it, high fly off the end of the bat to left, dies short of the track, caught by Pillar several steps from the track, inning over.
Top 2, 1-0 Angels.
23 pitches in the 1st for Anderson.
Rendon, Adell and Drury for the Angels in the 2nd.

Pulls a cutter well inside, 2-0
Cutter on his hands jams him, he loses the bag, hits a low pop halfway to the mound, Wells starts out, bumps Adell, forcing Nestor to make a basket catch for the 2nd out.

Drury takes a Fb well above the inside corner 1-0.
FB misses inside near the top, 2-0
Terrible cutter right down the middle, and he barrels it on a line into the corner in left, kicks around a bit, but Verdugo is still able to hold Drury to a 2 out double.

Moniak chases a FB outside, fouls it, 0-1
Chases a slider well outside, misses it by plenty, 0-2
Slider bounced outside, Moniak lays off that one, 1-2
Whew. Slider about a foot outside, Moniak almost times hit, slaps it hard but well foul toward the Angels dugoout.
FB at the top, fouled off.
Comes sidearm with a sinker near the top, Moniak pops it to short center, Volpe goes back and catches just to the right of 2nd on the short grass, inning over.
Bottom 2, 1-0 Angels.
14 pitches for Cortes in the 2nd, 38 through 2.
