They have locations in North Brunswick and Hoboken. They give out these huge 24 oz steaks (or 48 oz if you're brave). The quality of the meat isn't the best, but the French Onion soup is surprisingly good! If I could divide my age in half, I would give that 48 ounce steak a good go! Just cannot eat like I once did. This will sound odd, but the best French Onion soup I ever had was driving south, right outside of Six Flags Magic Mountain on the way to Los Angeles called "Hamburger Hamlet." Never would have thought about ordering it, but a friend of mine recommended it. I was happily surprised. Made a habit of stopping there whenever I was in the neighborhood. Some of the biggest hole in the wall restaurants have the best French Onion soup!

A retractable roof was part of the original design. I don't know where you heard that Yankee stadium would have to be raised. Also, without today's technology sky scrapers were built on what was once part of the east river. Shea Stadium was build on marshland. The original design had supports necessary to hold the retractable roof. Those supports were never put in. So the stadium, as it exists, cannot support a retractable roof. They'd have to uproot the stadium to do it. Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't want a roof on Yankee Stadium, I like it the way it looks right now but I don't have to put up with sitting in rain delays and I'm not losing gate revenue because a postponed game becomes a traditional double header.

Verdugo takes a waist high FB outside, ball 1. Takes a slider on the outer 3rd, 1-1 Gets a FB near middle middle, inside outs it sharply through the 56 hole closer to 2nd, gets himself a hit. Grisham stops at 2nd with nobody out for Soto.

Sadly, I'm going to miss the second game because of a family function. A function I just found out about a couple hours ago. Force them to watch the game like I do when I go to a family function. Some times I miss a half inning or so for a body function… I don’t know what would happen if the whole family had to do that at once…but it wouldn’t be pretty…

Soto swings over a slider below middle, 0-1 FB above the inner 3rd, Soto tries to check as he ducks out of there, can't, and it's 0-2 FB misses up and away at 99 (?!?) Sinker at 95 tails into the iniside corner, Soto fooled, takes it for the ꓘ, 1 down. Need Judge to come through here. Again.

I think they'll have the men's gold medal basketball game on, but we'll spend most of the day outside, because the weather is perfect right now. Where we're going, they don't have the extra innings package, so no YES network.

Who told you that... because of the weight that adds to the stadium property and the particularly soft undersurface in that area of the Bronx, they'd basically have to raze the stadium to put in new supportsYankee stadium?

FB well inside, Judge chases and fouls it off, 0-1 Change drops to the knees, outside middle, Judge guesses FB, fouls it down, 0-2. Oooh...Just missed a hittable FB 95 on the corner away, waist high, foueld off. Humps up to 97 with a FB above middle, and Judge is a bit late and under, fouls it back and to the right. Takes his timeout. Takes a change well low, near the corner away, 1-2 Same pitch, more or less, also taken, 2-2 Fb at 99, but inside 4-5 inches, Judge checks in time, 3-2 Argg. FB below middle middle at 97.8, Judge late, fouls it off. Best pitch he's seen this at bat. FB 4-5 inches inside again, and Judge chases, gets the hands in and ropes a liner into the left field corner for a big big big RBI double. Yanks expand to a 4-0 lead!!! Yanks couldn't afford to waist another great opportunity, have to tack on against the defending champs.
