Had to look it up, but Name That Yankee is Pudge Rodriguez. They should do Ed Figueroa, he deserves a shout out. Such an underrated pitcher. Loved Figgy! |

Well, Grisham just left the game after getting hit in the hand. If he has to go to the injured list, the door is open for Dominquez. And if Dominguez comes up, he's gonna play. That's gonna leave a lot less playing time for Verdugo too. Verdugo is starting to hit better, but you can never have enough good options on your roster. |

Seems like Burke is there to take one for the team. Yep, Double header and Eovaldi might've gotten hurt. Bad situation for Bochy. Soto grounds the 1st pitch up the middle, Semien dives to his right to spear it, can't get up in time, glove flips it to Seager for the force, Rice scores, Cabrera to 3rd on the RBI 4-6 FC by Soto, Yanks lead 7-0, and that's it for Burke. Rangers go to a righty for Judge. |

In my opinion, the design models of Yankee Stadium with a retractable roof that I saw online didn't take away the look from the stadium. Would love to see a Super Bowl played there some day. Honestly, I wish the original stadium or more precisely Yankee Stadium II was still there.
Even with the annoying support beams, the original Yankee Stadium is a special place. |
