Marinaccio the 27th man for the double-header today. He'll face Grossman, who turns around to bat lefty.
FB above and inside middle at 93, fouled off.
Change tails well outside, Grossman with the excellent eye, not chasing that, Marinaccio.
Change misses just outside, he doesn't chase that one either, 2-1
FB at the top at 94, popped foul off 3rd, Cabrera moves over between the coaches' box and the stands, battles the sun, has to lean back late, but catches, inning over.
Bottom 6, 7-0 Yanks.
6-7-8 for the Yanks: Chisholm, Volpe and Rice in their half of the inning.

I hope Judge walks so Wells has a shot for 8 RBIs on the day. I was hoping Judge would hit a three run HR and keeping piling up those stats, lol. I'd take that too!  |

Stick taps for Rodon. Nice outing overall. Yeah, not perfect by any means, but more than good enough. Got it done when it counted, getting the key outs to get out of jams early when it was close. |

Take your time recovering Trevino. Wells needs to stay starter.

Fouls off a slider on the outer 3rd, 0-2
Sinker down and in, rolled over to Seager, throws him out, easy play, 2 down.

Rice takes a slider below the outer 3rd, 1-0
Gets a FB near middle, hammers it, but pulls it way foul, 1-1
Chagne misses well low, inner half, taken, 2-1
FB misses just down and in, taken, 3-1
FB at the knees, outside middle, hammerd to right side, but right at Duran, knocks him back a step as he fields it just to his right side, spins the rest of the way around, throws out Rice to end the inning.
11 pitch 1-2-3 for Anderon, he's at 25 for his 1 2/3 innings.
Top 7, 6-0 Yanks
Heim, then back to the top for Smith and Seager for the Rangers in the 7th.
A's-Jays are 0-0, top 2nd in Toronto
Sox-Astros in Fenway, 40 minutes from now.
O's in Tampa later this evening.

FB outside corner waist high, fouled, 0-2
Change dives a few inches outside near the bottom, Heim lunges out to get it, pulls it to Rice, who takes it to the bag, 1 down.

Takes a FB that runs up and away, 1-1
Hanging change above middle, pulled hard but foul off 1st, 1-2
Humps the FB up to 95.8, Smith chases it up the ladder for the K, 2 down.

Seager with a big cut, but over and early on the change thigh high, loses the bat on the follow through, 3rd lost bat today.
FB sails well high and outside, taken, 1-1
FB above middle, fouled off, 1-2
FB runs just up and away, Seager chases for the K. Marinaccio is a lot more effective when the FB is 95-6 than when it's 93-4.
Excellent 1-2-3 inning with 2 K's and a grounder, just 11 pitches, and Marinaccio is at 15 total for his 1 1/3 innings.
Bottom 7, 7-0 Yanks.
9-1-2 for the Yanks; Cabrera, Verdugo and Soto.

Slider at the knees inner 3rd is strike 3, 50-50 on Gameday, but Soto gets the Soto-call, called low, ball 4. A gift there for Juan.
