In my opinion, it would be nice if the Yankees could add another starting pitcher like Schmidt to their rotation. Also in my opinion, it would be nice if the Yankees eventually decide to add a retractable roof to their stadium. I don't think that is going to happen in my lifetime. ( I am talking about the roof, not the starter !) It almost did though. I hope you enjoy the read: I'm sure they can add a retractable roof if they wanted to. In my opinion, it would eventually pay for itself (winter sporting events, Super Bowl, etc).

Can we at least get more Caitlin Clark on the TV screen if we're going to have to listen to a pointless interview? Caitlin should be in Paris.

Judge takes a splitter pretty much bounced outside, ball 1. Cutter on the outer 3rd, above the waist, Judge misses under, fouls it back, 1-1 FB into the top of the zone outside middle at 95. Some crowd umps groan but that in Judge's zone, 100% on Gameday Takes his timeout. Curve hangs inside, Judge chases and fouls. Takes a FB about 4-5 inches outside at the bottom, 2-2 Splitter sorta hangs but stays in the zone near the bottom, Judge hits it OK, but off the end of the bat, the looping liner falls in front of Grossman and Langford for a single. Soto stops at 2nd with nobody out. Heim goes out to try to settle Eovaldi before Wells steps in.

Cutter misses well inside at the knees, ball 1 on Wells. Takes a big hack at a FB at the top, misses clean and loses the bat on the follow through, flies in front of home. 1-1 Good split dives just low on the outer 3rd, Wells tops it foul off 1st. 1-2. Flies open on a FB misses almost two feet high trying to get a chase, Wells takes, 2-2 Goes after a bad cutter about 8 inches inside thigh high, pulls it way foul. That's ball 3, Wells. Splitter waist high, just outside, and he protects and fouls it. Splitter sorta hangs inside middle above the knees, and Wells crushes it up the gap in right center, goes to the wall, 3-0 Yanks on the two run double!!

Trainer and manager go to check on Eovaldi, he might be hurt. This inning, the splitter is hanging on some of them for some reason, it had good movement before.

I hope you enjoy the read: I'm sure they can add a retractable roof if they wanted to. In my opinion, it would eventually pay for itself (winter sporting events, Super Bowl, etc). They cannot add a retractable roof to the current Yankee Stadium. Because of the weight that adds to the stadium property and the particularly soft undersurface in that area of the Bronx, they'd basically have to raze the stadium to put in new supports. I wouldn't be surprised if the next YS has it but to do it to an already 15 year old stadium when current stadiums are on a 30 year or so lifespan... isn't gonna happen.
