Chisholm misses a FB up in the zone, 0-1 Takes a FB outside, 1-1 FB clips the outside corner, again not called, maybe 10% on Gameday, Chisholm got a break Fouls a FB down and in off his right ankle, hobbles around, trainer comes out. He gets back in there, cutter on the outside corner is strike 3, better than 50-50 on Gameday, not called, Chisholm got a BIG break on that call, 3-2 Fouls off a FB down and in, limps a bit as if the ankle still hurts. Takes his timeout. Gets a FB below the knees inner 3rd, drops the bat on it, hits it through the 34 hole for a single to right, Torres turns and goes to 3rd with nobody out.

Matt Festa in for the Rangers. He's a good starting prospect, I think. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Takes a FB on the corner low/away not called, 25-30% on Gameday, Torres got a break there. Sweeper inner 3rd, rolled over to Jung near 3rd, he throw is low and Lowe can't scoop it. Scored a hit for Torres on degree of difficulty. Feta's wearing a Met's hat on the MLB score tracker.

Come one Volpe, take that pitch!

Slider way inside makes Volpe back off. Pickoff threw nearly gets Chisholm. Chisholm goes, FB outer 3rd, waist high, Volpe fouls it. Should've taken that pitch if you knew he was going, Anthony. Fb in the zone up and in, fouled off. Hanging slider in the zone above middle, he's late and under, pops it foul behind 3rd, Garcia runs it, calls and catches, walks the ball back. Coulda been worse, I guess. I think Paul might be right, Volpe needs a day off soon.

Jesus, don't batters get a take sign on an obvious steal anymore? For that matter, why should Volpe need one. Let the runner steal second.

Throw over again on Chisholm. FB inside makes DJ spin away, Chisholm goes, and Kelly holds the throw, 2nd and 3rd, 1 out for DJ. Infield comes in.

Slider starts inside, freezing DJ, breaks onto the inner 3rd, 1-1 Same pitch, and he's ready for it this time, inside outs a fly toward the corner in right, Garcia catches, fires home, but the throw is a bit late and up the line toward 3rd a bit, Torres slides to the back side and scores, 6-1 Yanks! And that sac fly also looks like old DJ.

Yeah! I said to myself, "that's Old DJ" when he inside outed the slider inside middle to fairly deep right. Used to do that fairly regularly 4-5 years ago. Rangers stall, then bring in a lefty for Verdugo with Chisholm at 2nd and 2 down.

Solid lefty middle reliever Andrew Chafin in to pitch to Verdugo.

Sinker dives inside, forcing Verdugo to spin back and away, almost hit him, 1-0 Slider down and in, taken, 2-0 Sinker inside, 3-0 Somehow I missed Chishplm going to 3rd on the sac fly. Sinker on the corner inside, below the waist, 3-1
