Stanton's 20th HR: 114.9 mph, 405 feet, 17° launch angle, a HR in 29 of 30 parks. Guess which one isn't. It should be pretty easy. Fenway?

Smith... Takes a sinker low, 1-0 Takes a sinker in the zone low and away, 1-1 Sinker gets a piece of the corner away, not called, 10-20% on Gameday bit of a bad call there, 2-1 Fouls off a cutter down and in, 2-2 Spoils a FB at the top inner 3rd, Spoils a spliter at the bottom inner 3rd. Sinker way high, 3-2 Sinker dives outside 4-5 inches ball 4. Smith works an excellent 8 pitch walk to start the inning right after the Yanks got 3. Watch Stroman carefully now.

Ugh, why couldn't that one be lined right at DJ, just like Soto's?

Seager... Slurve outside ball 1. Sinker low/away taken, 2-0 Hits the outside corner with a sinker again not called, strike zone shrinks all of a sudden, 10% strike on Gameday. Sinker below and outside middle, he has the green light but fouls it, 3-1 Cutter hits the top of the zone near the corner away, taken, 3-2 Bad sinker just below and outside middle, lined hard past Lemahieu to his right, gets to the wall for a double, Smith scores all the way from first, and the Rangers strike right back for a run, 5-1 Yanks.

Wells goes out to stall and get Cousins more time to warm. And now Boone comes out to get Stroman, probably a good idea, assuming Cousins has had enough time to get ready.

Despite the end and the relative short length, overall a nice bounce back outing from Stroman.

That's what I assumed when I asked the question, but statcast says it's Camden Yards. Sometimes I think statcast is using the wrong mushrooms. Well, maybe that HR wasn't pulled enought to get out there before the extreme arch back just to the right of the LF corner and would've hit the top of the wall, I dunno.

Semien takes a slider way outside, ball 1 Tales a sinker just outside at the knees, 2-0 Takes a slider almost down the middle, 2-1 Sinker on the outside corner, fouled almost straight back, 2-2 Slider way outside, 3-2 Blake tries to go out to talk to Cousins, ump says he can't because it's the 2nd trip in one batter, but it isn't. Boone's trip was before Cousins came in, it was with Stroman in the game, now he goes to talk to him.

Whatever Blake told him worked! Because he wildly chases a slider way low and outside, Wells had to make a great backhand stab on the bounce to save a wild pitch. Stantonian chase for the K there by Semien, 1 down.

Bad sinker right down the middle, thigh high, hammered back up the middle for a single. Hit so hard, Judge is able to hold Seager at 3rd with 1 down.
