FB waist high, inside middle and Torres somehow TOPS a chopper to short, Lopez throws him out, 2 down.

FB misses 2-3 inches low, outer half, called a strike anyway, 0-1 on Chisholm.
Bounces a curve outside, 1-1
FB above middle, swung under, 1-2
FB at the top, smacked up the middle to the right of 2nd for a two out single.

If it's the same Nicky Lopez that was on the royals and Braves I remember him being annoying against the Yankees recently Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It's not that so much, anthony, I remember Lopez doing that too, it's just this game should BE OVER already. If the hitters had down what they should've they'd be up 7-2 or 8-2, and the White Sox would've quit for the night.

Ghastly outing by Gil against a truly awful team. Hopefully it was just an "off night" and not a harbinger of bad things to come.

Volpe starts his at bat by taking his timeout.
Chisholm goes on the 1st pitch, Lee drops on transfer, stolen base. the slider was in the zone, 100% but not called a strike, don't know why, 1-0
FB down and in, knee high, inner 3rd, fouled off.
Humps up to 93, his fastest FB tongiht, hits the top inner 3rd, and Volpe misses under, 1-0.
Chisholm goes for 3rd, Volpe grounds it to where the 3B would be, but he's covering, goes to Lopez in short left, Chisholm never stops running, lopes throws home, it's in time, but Chisholm gets his hand in under the tag.
Chisholm creates a run with his legs, and Yanks show some life, trail the White Sox, 4-2!

Curve waist high inside, DJ pulls it deep down the line, but it hooks just foul, had HR distance I think. 1-2
Splitter inside, DJ center it, but up toward the trademark, breaks his bat, the soft multihopper is fielded by Baldwin cutting way across to the left side of 2nd, throws off balance on the move, but the ball 1-hops high to Vaught at 1st, who catches it awkwardly but hangs on for the out, inning over.
Yanks get 1 back, trail 4-2 going bottom 5.
Tim Hill coming in, I think.
He'll fact two lefties, Benintenti, Vaughn and Sheets. Vaughn is the righty.
