Sinker waist high, outer 3rd, slaps it, a chopper through the right side is another unlucky hit, 1st and 2nd, nobody out for Sheets.

Sheets takes a sinker in the zone above and outside middle, 0-1
Gets a FB above and inside middle, inside outs a liner into the corner in left for a double, runs scores, 2nd and 3rd, nobody out, and whatever momentum the Yanks got from Chisholm's running vanishes LIKETHAT. 5-2 white Sox.
Even worse, they need K's here, and have a pitcher in the game they can't remove yet who doesn't get them.

Sinker below middle, grounded luckily right at DJ, looks the runner back, takes it to 1st, 1 down.

Maybe on paper this team is awful, but from what I'm seeing, the 1962 Mets' single season loss record will probably stay safe.

Sinker inside jams him, two hopper to Volpe, he holds, sets, fires home throws a strike to nail Vaughn coming down from 3rd, 1st and 3rd. 2 down for Fletcher.
Game hangs in the balance here against the #9 hitter for an awful team. Hill must find a way to get him and get out of the inning.
Whatever chance the Yanks have to hold this is here.
