If you want a silver lining to this dark cloud, the White Sox finished the season 5 and 5 against Cleveland this season. So no matter how bad this loss may be...it's only one loss to the worst team in baseball...Cleveland did it 5 times.

FB down and in, lifted to center easy play for Judge, inning finally over. White Sox add 6 off of De Los Santos, lead 11-2 going top 8th.
In a situation like this, I'd say something like...I hope the traveling secretary has the DFA papers for De Los Santos and gives them to him in the clubhouse between innings. But tonight, in THIS situation, him pitching like THAT against THIS team, no, no, no, no, no. Leave him in the game to pitch the 8th until his arm literally falls off.
Then DFA him.

Imagine getting bombed by a team worse than the 1962 Mets. What's that say about our team? I dunno it sucks for sure, but the Guardians who are in contention for best record in the AL as well are only 5-5 against them so... Chalk it up win the series I guess.. White Sox 28 wins this year: vs CLE 5 vs TBR 4 vs ATL 2 vs BOS 2 vs COL 2 vs STL 2 vs WSH 2 vs ARI, DET, HOU, KCR, MIA, MIN, OAK, SEA, TOR 1 each |
