sheets base hit off rice's glove 12-2. if i wasn't dizzy before, the hits off de los santos are making head spin.

This bum might be the worst pitcher I've ever seen in pinstripes. No hyperbole. Pitch him the rest of the game, let them score 20, and have his DFA papers in his locker waiting for him.

I realize doing analyst work on a game like this is very hard if you don't want the team to fire you, and I realize that as an ex-player you don't want to criticize the effort of the players, but that's just cliched horse manure. Gets ahead of Fletcher 0-2, including a gift on a pitch 3-4 inches outside, Fletcher works it back to 2-2.
Yanks the change bounced down and in, Wells still trying, blocks it, 3-2.

FB outside, looping liner to left, Verdugo charges hard and makes a terrific backhand diving catch to end the inning, and mercifully for De Los Santos, the 8th.
Top 9, 12-2 White Sox, and this abomination of a game is 3 outs from over.

With this win the White Sox will have 29 wins on the season with 6 of them coming against 70 win teams (5 vs CLE, 1 vs NYY) which is just under 21%.
Thats more wins than they have against all the last place teams combined. Tor 1, Oak 1, Mia 1, Col 2, Pit 0

Change misses just low, 3-1
FB misses 3-4 inches outside, called a strike anyway, 3-2. Jennings yells at him to get in the box. Or maybe it was a fan.
Takes his timeout.
Then fouls off a slider in.
FB gets a small piece of the low inside corner, that one is NOT called strike 3. As I said before, where is this K zone, exactly? 40% on Gameday.

I give each of you credit for watching this disaster to the end. You stayed in the game a lot longer than some guys getting paid to wear uniforms did tonight.
