If you do, I hope you get those seats you had with your brother when we could see you the whole game. I'd love to see you cupping your hands and loudly jeering your old nemesis.😆
For the new members: Thats me (glasses) and my brother in the jerseys shaking our heads at Stanton striking out. My brother's wife caught this on TV.
That's a pretty epic facepalm.

18 members of '09 World Series champs to attend Yankees' Old-Timers' Day August 13th, 2024
Bryan Hoch@BryanHoch
CHICAGO -- The Yankees have announced the lineup for the 76th Old-Timers’ Day at Yankee Stadium, which is scheduled to be held on Aug. 24th and will commemorate the 15th anniversary of New York's 2009 World Series championship club.
Eighteen members of the 2009 “Mission 27” club will reunite in the Bronx prior to that day’s scheduled 2:05 p.m. ET game against the Rockies, including 8th 1st-time Old-Timers’ Day attendees: A. J. Burnett, Francisco Cervelli, Phil Coke, Eric Hinske, Damaso Marte, José Molina, Alex Rodriguez and CC Sabathia.
Other representatives of the 2009 Yankees roster expected to attend include Johnny Damon, Joe Girardi, Jerry Hairston Jr., Derek Jeter, Hideki Matsui, Gene Monahan, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera and Nick Swisher.
Fans are asked to be in their seats by 12 p.m. ET on the day of the game for Old-Timers’ introductions, which will be read by Michael Kay. As in recent years, there will be no Old-Timers’ game played; instead, a Q&A session will be held with the players, hosted by Girardi and Suzyn Waldman.
The roster includes 9 Monument Park inductees: Jeter, Tino Martinez, Paul O’Neill, Pettitte, Posada, Willie Randolph, Rivera, Joe Torre and Bernie Williams. Joining them will be current Yankees Manager Aaron Boone, 1998 ALCS MVP Orlando “El Duque” Hernández and 1978 World Series MVP Bucky Dent.
Other notable invitees include David Cone, Brian Doyle, John Flaherty, Graeme Lloyd, Jill Martin (widow of Billy Martin), Diana Munson (widow of Thurman Munson), Kay Murcer (widow of Bobby Murcer), Jeff Nelson, Gil Patterson, Lou Piniella and Roy White.

I hope that Pitcher Bobby Shantz was asked to attend or able to attend the event. He is 98 years old, I think that he is oldest living Yankee player.

As of about a year ago he was still doing pretty well. He was still living outside of Philly where he grew up and appeared on a local show about golf courses in the area. Bobby is an outstanding all-around athlete and was a first-rate golfer in his day.

Bobby is from the Pottstown, PA area. He was the 1st Yankee Pitcher and player to win a AL Golden Glove in 1957. He would win the from 1957-1960 for the Yankees. Also he had won the AL ERA title in 1957.
