Takes a slider that starts at him, breaks into the zone, waist high, inner 3rd, 0-1
Sinker waist high, outer 3rd, fouled off, 0-2
Starts at a slider below the outer 3rd, holds up in time, 1-2
Same pitch, and this time Verdugo bites, pulling off it for the K, inning over.
Bottom 8, 3-0 Yanks
Probably Kahnle for the Yanks in the 8th. Tigers will send up their 2-3-4: Carpenter, Vierling and Madris.

Change misses up and in, ball 1.
Change, flies open misses way outside, 2-0
Change to the corner away, thigh high, 2-1
Change drops low to the knees, outer 3rd, Vierling lunges and chops it to Peraza at 3rd, throws him out by plenty, 2 down.

I must admit, i don't quite get the point of this one, kay. Its Lee Harvey Oswald as in Oswald Peraza.

Madris...
Takes a change well out of the zone, down and in, 1-0
Change winds up in a bad spot, below the middle, but it had excellent drop, so Madris fouls it down near home, 1-1
Change starts at him tails to the high inside corner, called strike 2.
Change drops low in the middle, pulled sharply down 1st, but right at DJ, who drops to a knee to make sure, takes it to the bag, inning over.
Nice 1-2-3 for Kahnle, just 12 pitches, two popups and a grounder.
Top 9, 3-0 Yanks.
6-7-8 for the Yanks: Volpe, Trevino and LeMahieu. If it's still Hurter, he's at 67 pitches starting his 6th inning of work as the bulk reliever.

A leadoff walk is a GOOD thing here, Anthony.
Sinker catches the edge of the corner away, taken, 3-1
Sinker down the middle, topped to the left of 2nd, Sweeney fields, throws him out, 1 down. You have to do better with that meatball, Volpe.
