FB misses 2-3 inches outside near the top, Cole wanted it, but it was outside.
Slider barely on the low inside corner fools Madris, who takes it for the ꓘ, great receiving job by Trevino not letting it go to the ground but holding it up. 1 down.

FB misses 3-4 inches outside at the top, taken, ball 4. Jung drew a lot of walks in AAA, too.

Yankees cooling off their own hot hitter by having Wells not play for 2 days. They sit Wells and OC after the heroics on Wednesday. Is there a rule that Volpe cannot get a day off ? I don't like it at all. They have 3 catchers on their roster, so DH Wells and sit Stanton again, Austin has been the better player at the plate. But hey, at least we get to see more lousy at bats by DJ. |

Hanging slider down the middle, lined through the left side for a hit. Jung stops at 2nd with 1 out.
And Flats? Why would Cole throw a "get me over" breaking ball on 2-2?

I don't like Cole screwing with the hesitation thing, might screw up his mechanics. Might get hurt throwing off the timing of his motion.
