Judge's triple crown stats numbers: .333/ 44 / 111 Just needs to catch Witt for BA! That's going to be tough.

Keith... Takes a slider way low/away. Takes another a bit closer but still well out of the zone, 2-0 Slider starts inside, hits the corner inside, freezing Keith, 2-1 FB just out of the zone up and away, Keith chases and fouls it, 2-2 Slider in a bad spot, the drop the bat happy zone down and in, fouled back. Slider misses 5-6 inches outside, Keith starts, but checks in time, 3-2 Slider stays in the zone, below the waist, outside middle, Keith serves a flare to center, falls in front of Judge for a hit, Malloy scores easily, 1-0 Tigers.

Just needs to catch Witt for BA! That's going to be tough. Yea not enough time left in the season. He should easily win MVP though.

Dingler gets a 1st pitch FB just outside, hits it high to fairly deep left center, Rodon spins as if he thinks it's a HR, but this is a big ballpark, and Judge goes back near the track and catches, inning over.
Top 2, 1-0 Tigers. 19 pitches in the first for Rodon. Flats says he thinks Rodon has good stuff today, but I'm not seeing it yet; just 1 swing and miss in 19 pitches in the 1st.
Wells, Stanton, Verdugo for the Yanks in the 2nd.

Wells... Takes a FB outside, ball 1. Slider into the zone a bit low and outside, fouled off, 1-1 Swings over a change in the zone down and in, thought it was the FB and swung over, 1-2 Flies open a ibt, misses high and away, trying to waste a FB, 2-2 Change misses well down and in, count goes full. Again flies open a bit, outside, ball 4. Leadoff walk for Wells.

Stanton takes a FB up and in, ball 1. Slider might have caught the corner away, taken, and called a strike, 1-1. Gamedays says it missed, 0%, but within an inch, so...marginal Takes a sinker in the zone down and in, 1-2 FB high, taken, 2-2 Sinker inside, waist high, Stanton jammed but fouls to stay alive. Sinker down and in, backhanded in the 56 hole by Baez, who has to backhand the offline throws, Ibanez scoops and doesn't even look to see where Stanton is, he probably had a play on him for the DP. Yanks get a break there, as any fielded grounder on the infield with a man on 1st is an almost automatic DP off of Stanton.

Verdguo takes a FB above middle for a strike. Takes a FB up and away, 1-1 Gets a slider above middle, fouls it off, 1-2 Change dropping thigh high, middle, rolled over, the soft chop off 1st is fielded by Torkelson, flips to Montero. Stanton to 2nd with 2 down.

Volpe beats out a grounder to third, inning still alive.

Slider misses just outside, called a strike anyway. Volpe going very poorly, doesn't need a bad call on the 1st pitch. 0% on Gameday by an inch. Takes a FB near the corner away for strike 2. Slider just outside, thigh high, bounced down the 3rd base line, Jung backhands behind 3rd, sets and throws a strike, but Volpe beats it for an infield hit. 1st and 3rd, 2 down for Rice.

Awful one pitch at bat by Rice ends the inning.

Rice goes after a slider on the back door, lifts a soft flare to center, but it hangs up and Vierling makes the easy catch to end the inning.
Bottom 2, 1-0 Tigers. 20 pitches in the 2nd for Montero, 36 through 2. Torkelson, Jung and Baez for the Tigers in the 2nd.

I miss the game when it was actually Major League Baseball...before the joke it's turned into with all these new and constantly changing rules, players' uniforms that make them look like clowns at a rodeo, and using bats that look like they're playing Whiffle Ball, not baseball. smh. If only we could go back 40 years.

Torkelson takes a FB up and away, 1-0 Backdoor slider misses outside near the bottom by about 2 inches, called a strike anyway, 0% on Gameday, 1-1 Change well outside, waist high, 2-1 FB above the top, Torkelson late and under, high fly down the right side slices out of play, 2-2 Hanging change below middle, belted for HR depth, but it hooks just foul. FB in the zone up and away, smashed to right center for a hit, Judge cuts it off, but can't keep Torkelson from a leadoff double.
That "good stuff" you said Rodon had last inning, Flats? Where is it?
