1st slider hangs on the high inside corner, Ramirez thinks it's a FB, is early and under, 2-2
Slider inside hits Ramirez on the thigh, he tries to check, the 3rd base ump rings him up, says he swung but the side view says he didn't. Yanks get an ENORMOUS early break, should be 1st and 2nd with nobody out for J. Naylore, but instead, it's man on 1st and 1 out.

Gets a change on the high outside corner, misses late and under, pops to short left, Verdugo comes in to catch, 2 down.

It doesn't seem like it, but Trevino has thrown out 12 of 53, also 23%. Runners are 5 for 6 against Gil this season, 83%.

FB waist high, outside corner, popped high foul off 3rd, Peraza takes a fast but inexact route, gets over near the tarp, then has to stumble/lunge back and dive onto the tarp, but he makes a terrific grab to get Gil through the 1st inning.
Bottom 1, 0-0
22 pitches in the 1st for Gil.

FB in the zone up and in at 93, he's a bit late and under, pops to right center, Scneemann moves over, calls, catches, 1 down.

Change winds up almost right down Broadway, and Soto barrels it, but not very hard, the line drive to right gets over the wall into the 1st row of the Porch in right, 1-0 Yanks on Soto's 35th HR, tying his career high. 1-0 Yanks!!

Takes a 94 FB just high on the inner 3rd, 1-1
Takes a change low, outer half, 2-1
Takes a change thigh high, 3 inches outside, 3-1
Sinker on the inside corner below the waist, Judge inside outs a high fly to right center, Noel again goes back and leaps, and again comes up empty, gets into the first row, but not in the Porch, over next to the Yankees pen. Solo HR makes it 2-0 Yanks!! Judge's 45th back to back with Soto's 35th!

Change at the knees, liner off the end of the bat breaks his bat, Ramirez dives to his left in the 56 hole to grab it on 1 hop, gets up, wheels around, throws him out. Took a hit away from Stanton there. Maybe. 2 down.
