Wells swings over a change in the zone low/away, 0-1 Change well outside, 1-1 Fb hits the corner away near the top, not called, Wells gets a break, 20% on Gameday. And the break is taken right back, slider just low called strike 2, missed by 4 inches low, 0%. 2-2 FB in the zone up and away, fouled. Change outside, fouled off. Slider above the waist, outer 3rd, he's early and misses it for the K. Inning over. Yanks add one on Judge's 47th HR, lead 8-0 going top 8. At a guess...Mayza again? Might as well try to soak up some innings with the detritus. |

Mayza is in fact into the game; he'll face Noel, Gimenez and Freeman.
Judge's 47th HR: 102.5 mph, 356 feet, 33° launch angle, a HR in just 9 of 30 parks. Smoltz sits watching with a smug, self-satisfied grin.

Sinker outside corner above the waist, Noel essentially duplicates the Judge HR. 8-1 Yanks.
Geez I hope he can get through at least one inning without giving up 4-5 runs.
