The old Noetsi swing softly and gently "steer the ball" away from the fielders! Only Soto has enough talent to employ Russ's technique. I wonder if he's aware that Soto plays for the Yankees now? |

Wells takes a curve that misses down and in, 1-0
Swings over the change diving two plane to the knees, outer 3rd, 1-1. Similar to Kahnle's change, it looks like.
FB 3-4 inches inside, but Wells can't check, and it hit the bat goes foul, 1-2
Curve misses low, but Wells fouls it.
FB waist high outside corner, 50-50 on Gameday, not called, Wells got a break there, 2-2
Hung that change!!
Waist high, outer 3rd, pulled sharply throw the right side, for a single, Judge goes for 3rd, and beats the throw from Noel; 1st and 3rd, 1 down for Volpe.

Verdugo takes a FB on the outside corner, 0-1
Fb near middle, and at least it's not a rollover grounder to the right side, hits a fliner to left of center, but Thomas gets over with plenty of time, inning over.
Top 6, 7-0 Yanks.
Hedges, then back to the top as Kwan and Thomas get their 3rd look at Nestor. Two more good inning, Nasty One. That's all I ask. You can even give up a run. Maybe two. Please?

FB misses well low in the middle, Hedges lays off, 2-2
Cutter just above the zone, outer half, Hedges misses under it, K, 1 down.

Slider thigh high in the middle, hit hard down first, Rice dives to backhand the short hop, takes it to the bag, 2 down. Fine play there by Rice. 2 down.
