Slider below the knees in the middle, lined to right of center, but not deep, so Judge goes left, it stays up for him to make a pretty easy catch, game over.
Yanks win a fairly ho-hum affair, 3-0, their 3rd win in a row, get back to 23 over .500 at 76-53 with 33 games to go, and might get to 2 1/2 ahead of the O's.

Angels lead the Jays 4-3, going bottom 9 in Toronto.
Astros lead the O's, 5-2 bottom 8 at Camden Yards but the O's have bases loaded and nobody out.

Santander, who's 2nd in the AL to Judge with 37 HR is batting against Abreu, 2-0 count, bases loaded, nobody out.

Santander's slam came on a 98.5 FB about 8-10 inches high, outside middle. Quite the swing on a pitch that far out of the zone.

Urias just tripled to right center, scoring Slater, and making it 7-5 Astros Orioles. I think that might be enough room for Kimbrel to work with. Or Serathony Dominguez.

yankees win. mini 3-game winning streak. if the O's lose to the astros, could wind up w a 2 1/2 game lead. unthinkable a couple weeks but the ship has been righted to a certain extent. rodon a solid 6 no run performance. yankee starters haven't allowed a run over the last 19 innings after gil's hiccup. and we can throw stroman's 6 inning shoutout into mix so a nice run through the rotation. gonna give potg to rodon for the 6 scoreless after a nice bounceback start. only 5 hits but stanton's HR provided the only he run needed. and will throw an HM judge's way for #49. the 3-headed monster in the pen also gets some for their 3 scoreless. looks like they've settled in as well. good to have jazz back.
edit: just saw that santender hit a GS to give O's lead.
