Cave fouls off a sinker on the corner away, 0-1
Gets a FB below and inside middle, misses, fouls it off. 0-2
Bounces a slider, starts but checks in time, side view confirms, 1-2
FB tails well outside, taken, 2-2
Slider backs up outside a good 6 inches, 3-2.
Fb in the zone up and away, Cave tomahawks it into the Yankee bullpen, two run HR makes it 9-2 Rockies. Cave getting his revenge against the Yanks giving up on his, I guess. 4-4 today.

Slider on the low/outside corner, hit high toward the corner in left, Verdugo, good jump and route, runs it down near the wall, 2 down.

Romo takes a sinker way outside, 1-0
Takes a sinker less way outside, 2-0
Sinker a bit closer, chases and fouls, 2-1
Slider misses outside at the knees, 3-1
FB waist high, outer 3rd, fouled, 3-2
Slider down and in, on the corner, popped foul behind home, gets over the screen.
Same FB as the 3-1, fouled off. Same spot, almost exactly.
Sinker on the outside corner, spoiled.
FB waist high inside corner is strike 3, not called. Bad call, 75-80% on Gameday, not close at all. Ball 4
And that's it for Tonkin, Hill in to finish this inning and probably take the 8th as well.

Tovar fouls off a sinker on the outer 3rd.
Takes a FB just up and away, 1-1
Sinker on the inner 3rd, jams himself, grounded to Torres, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 7, 9-2 Rockies.
Grisham, then back to the top for Torres and Soto for the Yanks in their half of the 7th inning.

Getting rag dolled by the ROCKIES on old timers day. Have some friggin' pride.
I see my new favorite Yankee, Leiter, added to the fire, lol. It's amazing how hard Cashman failed in upgrading the bullpen. I'm not even sure I'm mad about it, kind of in awe.

Bowden Francis of the Blue Jays has a no-hitter through 6 with 10 K's and 2 BB.

Getting rag dolled by the ROCKIES on old timers day. Have some friggin' pride. I see my new favorite Yankee, Leiter, added to the fire, lol. It's amazing how hard Cashman failed in upgrading the bullpen. I'm not even sure I'm mad about it, kind of in awe. Might get some upgrades anyway, if Hamilton, Efforss and Burdi make it back healthy. Which is not to say Cashman's efforts at the deadline weren't terrible in this area. Grisham lines it hard to right center, but Cave runs it down in the track. |

Should be breaking out his slider here at some point.
Got under that slider, left it up and in, 1-1
FB up and in in the zone, fouled, 1-2
Curve breaks across the whole zone, misses outside at the top, Soto chases and misses, K, inning over.
