Yeah, they can't keep running Warren out there. This is pitiful. He has a good arm, but ZERO command. He's not a MLB pitcher. Certainly not right now. Maybe he can be.....for the A's. |

Takes a splitter well outside, 2-0
Good two plane splitter dives just low and outside, chases and misses, 2-1
Sinker below middle fouled off, 2-2
FB well outside, ball 3.
FB in the zone up and in, spoiled. Torres running on 3-2 2 out, has to go back.
Fb inside corner, pulled foul.
Splitter thigh high, outside corner, spoiled.
Takes a bounced splitter for ball 4. 1st and 2nd, 2 down for Chisholm. It's a big ask, but if Chisholm could get going now, they might make a game of this yet.
Forgot to mention, Warren at 76 pitches through 3 after throwing 27 in the 3rd.

Volpe gets a slider outside middle, but misses it, flies out to Doyle. If you're going after that 1st pitch, you have to do BETTER with that one, Anthony.
Top 4, 6-1 Rockies. 23 pitches for Blalock in the 3rd, 61 through 3.
Blackmon, Tovar and Doyle for their 3rd at bat today for the Rockies in the 4th.

Blackmon gets a 1-2 splitter down and in, lined, but right to Rice. 1st real break Warren's gotten today, 1 down.

Didn't realize this was Leiter until I looked at Gameday.
McMahon takes a sinker on the outer 3rd, 0-1
Takes a curve low in the middle, 1-1
Splitter dropping way low, chases, 1-2
Fouls off a low splitter.
Curve low and outside, Doyle steals 2nd.
Bad splitter hangs waist high, but McMahon fouls it.
Much better splitter winds up low, but he barely spoils it.
