Misses a splitter just on or just off the corner away, 0-1%, 1-2

Bounces a splitter, Toglia lays off, 3-2
Terrible meatball sinker, just below middle middle; lined into the Yankee bullpen, aqd that kills the rally attempt. That was Leiter's 35th pitch. Boone tried to stretch 2 innings out of him, didn't work.

Grisham g4ts a slider down the middle, misses, fouls it, 0-1 Gets way under a curve, misses way high, 1-1 Much better curve winds up just above the knees, swung over, 1-2 Big dropping curve winds up well low, Grisham starts but checks in time, 2-2 Good two plane splitter dives just outside above the knees, swung early and over, K, 2 down. I said it previously, no way Grisham is on post season roster. Dominguez gets the spot Not sure about that. I hope you're right, but Cashman is stubborn. |

And that is also the residual impact of Warren's futility that you have to pitch guys in the bullpen more than you want because your starter goes 3 bad innings. Honestly if you want to win the division you need to win games against opponents like this but instead we keep giving them away. |

Slider at the knees, tapped to 2nd, Torres charges, fields has enough time, but fumbles the transfer (again), infield hit.

I said it previously, no way Grisham is on post season roster. Dominguez gets the spot Not sure about that. I hope you're right, but Cashman is stubborn. There is nothing Grisham can do better than JD. JD is also a switch hitter. |

Sinker down and in, chopped softly toward Rice, he charges hard, and hurries the throw, fires it well to Volpe's right, no chance to block it it, goes into left center for an E-3. 1st and 2nd, still 1 out.

Romo taps the first pitch slowly down 3rd, Chisholm charges fields, throws on the run, a strike just ahead of Romo, taking away an infield hit. 2nd and 3rd, 2 down.

Sinker in the middle, low in the zone, tapped to the right side, Rice has to come well off the bag to field, flips behind him, but Mayza is on the spot, catches and steps on 1st just ahead of Blackmon. Maybe he beats that out in 2014, but not in 2024.
Bottom 5, 7-2 Rockies.
Soto-Judge-Wells for the Yanks. Let's see how far Black is willing to go with Blalock to get him his first win in the majors.

FB clips the outside corner, not called, Judge got a break, 20% on Gameday.
Splitter to the knees in the middle, taken, 1-1
Judge gets ANOTHER break. Splitter to the knees, outer 3rd, taken, 2-1, and that one is 50-50 on Gameday.
Swings over a slider going well low, 2-2
Takes his timeout.
Sorta buzzes the tower again, but that one not very close, Judge leans back anyway. 3-2
Splitter dives inside, ball 4. Judge walks with the aid of two bad calls against Blalock.
