Back to back, belly to belly Judge jacks another one over the fence giving Yankees much needed insurance runs. You're a HR behind now, lauren.   My tablet was frozen in the middle of the post. Had to run across my house to get on my desktop to repost it. In the middle of my repost, Stanton jacked one of which I didn't see. |

Fb tails well outside, 2-0
FB in the zone down and in, taken, 2-1.
FB at the top, inner half, swung under, 2-2
Takes a change below the inside corner by about 3-4 inches, 3-2
FB outside middle, fouled.
FB in the zone down and in, fouled off the left side.
Change misses 4-5 inches low, inner 3rd, ball 4. Leadoff 8 pitch walk.

Chases the FB upstairs for strike 3.

Toglia takes a cutter outside, ball 1.
Takes a bounced change, 2-0
Swings over a change diving well below the outside corner, 2-1
Cutter inside, late and fouled off.
Change outside, tapped back to Weaver, he wheels and throws high to 2nd, but Volpe catches and comed down on the bag. Bad throw prevented the DP attempt, 2 down.

Chases a bounced change down the middle, 0-2
Tries to check on the bounced change, they appeal to 3rd base ump that isn't there. 1-2.
Great two plane change to the low outside corner, Cave way early and over it for the K, inning over.

Trevino, Verdguo and LeMahieu for the Yanks in the bottom of the 8th.

Playing big-time catch-up...
Soto's 38th HR: 102.7 mph, 418 feet, 29° launch angle a HR in 41 of 30 parks.
Judge's 51st HR and 2nd of the game: 103.3 mph, 371 feet, 38° launch angle, a HR in just this park (Smoltz spikes the football, does his Billy "White Shoes" Johnson chicken dance.)
Stanton's 23rd HR: 110.4 mph, 425 feet, 22° launch angle, a HR in just 29 of 30 MLB Parks. (I'll best the one that "isn't a HR" in is Coors, which doesn't account for the 5-10% extra carry at high altitude.
