Man, the Yanks are playing a heck of a game. Very entertaining. Volpe doing his Pepper Martin impersonation. DJ coming up big. Wells with a blast. Flashing leather all over. I can't recall any game this year that's resembled this one.
Still a lot of baseball left, so hope this holds up. A bit preoccupied tonight, so I'm checking in and out.

Soto takes a slider outside, ball 1.
Takes a sinker on the corner away, below the waist, 1-1
Takes a big hack at a slider dropping low in the zone near middle, misses, 1-2
Slider outside, Soto chases and tips it foul.
Slider to the knees, outside middle, fouled
Sinker misses outside at the knees by 4-5 inches, Soto lays off, 2-2
Slider into the top of the zone, outer 3rd, fliner to right center, easy play for Young, inning over.
Bottom 6, 4-0 Yanks.
Vargas, Young and back to the top for Abrams for the Nats in their half of the 6th inning.

Slider low and away, pulls a line drive single to left to start the 6th.
