Swings over a splitter dropping well low, also away, chased and missed, 0-2
Splitter yanked inside, too far away from middle to get a chase, 1-2
Much closer splitter but still inside, hitters usually don't chase that from the pitcher who throw oppostite side from the side they hit on. Same side yes, oppo side not as much. Takes it, 2-2
Curve waist high, inside middle, rolled over to DJ at 1st, takes it to the bag,
....and Leiter HAS A PERFECT OUTING!! YAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Does Leiter have a four-seam fastball? For a guy whose best pitch is he splitter, an occasional fastball would make that splitter so much more difficult to lay off.
