Sinker at 100 way inside, has to step back with the back leg, 2-2
Sinker at the bottom hammered down 3rd, it's a double if not right at Tena, but it is, so it's a double play, 5-4-3, inning over.
Bottom 9, 5-2 Yanks.
Holmes will be coming in to try to close it out; he'll face Ruiz, Yepez and Tena, at least.

She lights up his life.  In one of my more quixotic assignments in my reporting days, I once had lunch with Debby Boone and Rich Little and two other reporters. They were appearing at the long-gone Valley Forge Music Fair and a few local papers were invited to meet them and review the show. Little was absolutely hilarious and very talkative. Debby was quite reserved but very sweet. The six degrees of Kevin Bacon or the five degrees of Pipps! I loved Rich Little as a kid. Man, did he hit every talk show circuit of the 1970s, plus a perennial of the Dean Martin Roasts. |
