Slider bounced inside. I mean once in a while, it's oK to throw 3 or 4 of the same pitch in a row, but 8, 9 in a row? That's not scouting, that's a lack of faith in your asssortment. Slider outside lifted to left center, Judge catches, 1 down. The absence of sequencing, changing eye levels, or destroying timing. This. Very much this. Eventually, any hitter will catch on. As Coney says, if you throw 3 or 4 in a row, the last one has to be the best on. Virtually impossible for the 9th one in a row, even if you keep changing location or speed by a bit.

Nestor, Rodon, and Stroman looking serviceable lately? Not ace material, but not blowing up games either every time? Do the Yankees actually have a rotation now with a returning Schmidt?

The rotation's performance the last 2-3 weeks is similar to the way it worked while they built up the big 50-22 start. The bullpen hasn't been as good, and has cost them a couple of games.

They've been quite good the last couple, few times out. My concern with them, as always, is consistency. Are they all kind of peaking now, and we'll have to endure slumps again in a couple/few weeks? That would surely blow up any aspirations of a deep October run. Really, we just need Cole to be Cole, hopefully Schmiddy can be at leastn80% of what he was when he went down, and probably two of those guys to be at least serviceable. Not sure what to expect out of Gil in October at this point given his workload. Maybe long relief?

That's remarkable that he could do an impression after just meeting you. Rich Little was the best impressionist for my money, not the funniest though. Bill Hader kills me, not because of the impression but the juxtaposition of scenarios and funny lines. Dana Carvey, too. Remember David Frye? He mostly did political impressions. What a fun skill to have. Richard Nixon Superstar! "Uh, I know how bad a ghetto can be, la di da, da da, da dee..." (Nixon trying to win over Muhammed Ali).

Yup, thank you very much! It's an auction draft and I'm the commissioner. So a headache to get everyone together to draft. But it should be a good time. I wouldn't draft any Saints this season, Kay. Stay away. You may want to try to draft the LSU QB Jayden Daniels. He may surprise as a rookie as a dual threat guy. I was trying to draft him, but I took Anthony Richardson instead. I will try to target Daniels in my other drafts. He's been on my radar.

Love my auction draft even though I'm the guy who has to double check all the rosters and $$$ remaining as the draft goes along. Enjoy!! You don't have it automated by a website like yahoo or ESPN? Jeez, that's a lot of work. You're a good guy for doing that for everyone!

The YES guys said earlier he's been the best defensive CF in baseball this season. Wow! That I did not know. He looks like a young inger out there! That he do…
