What a catch by Verdugo! but that had to hurt. Also had the presence of mind to get the ball to Judge.. Good catch, 636, I didn't notice. |

Judge used every inch of the stadium to make that catch. Nestor giving up some long flies in that inning.

Takes a FB low, on the inner 3rd, Stanton starts, checks in time, 1-0
Swings at a splitter just low, outer half, bounces it foul off 3rd, 1-1
Spliiter waist high, inner 3rd, pulls foul off 3rd, 1-2
Splitter well low, outer 3rd, Stanton went too far, gets lucky, the first bast ump says no swing, but clearly past home on the side view.
FB waist high, inner 3rd, Stanton too late, swing and a miss. K, 2 down. Splitter slowed down the bat, and the FB beat him.

Same cutter, same spot, he barrels this one, lines it to short, Volpe ducks then reaches way up to grab it, 1 down.
