Wow. If that doesn't say "not tonight", I don't know what does. And I KNOW "not tonight."

Cutter on the outer 3rd, hit hard, but right to Abrams for a 6-4-3 DP. That's a signature moment for the game, I would think. On a 3-1 pitch, too. DJ scores, 4-1 Nats, but the rally went...
PPPFFFFbbbttt...

Finnegan in to face Stanton. Struggling lately, but still 2nd in the NL in saves.

It just seems like once the Yankees fall behind they stay behind.

A ltttle chin music for Stanton... FB up, grounded sharply, but right to Abrams, inning over. Judge DP grounder, 108.4; XBA: .540 Stanton 3rd out, 104.7, XBA: .290.

It just seems like once the Yankees fall behind they stay behind. I think I read somewhere a while ago that the team that scores first never trails in close to 50% of all games. Seems high, so I dunno. Bickford gets an inning, Yanks down by 3 in the 8th.

It just seems like once the Yankees fall behind they stay behind. Pretty sure they lead the majors in comeback wins, but it def feels like what you are saying.

Hopes will be down to Chisholm, Volpe, and Wells with *ugh* Verdugo and DJ following them. Feels like a foregone conclusion.

Yanks have 29, O's have 28, so do the Sox, Rays have 32, and Jays have 21. That's just the East. If there were more time left in this game, I'd do all of MLB Crews grounds out to Volpe, inning over. Top 9, 4-1 Nats.
