Somehow the Yankees cut it to 18 for playoffs even though the Red Sox won. I guess the playoff one factors in the royals loss somehow? |

Nice win. Yankees stay 2 games ahead of the Orioles in the all important loss column.  |

If you're wondering why Holmes has blown so many saves in the second third of the season, look at the infield defense stats that qwik posted.
I read those stats, but none are to blame for Holmes' wildness in many of his bad games. |
