Yet another history making moment developing in the Bronx (and as with many historical moments this season, it's not a good one for the Yankees), as a bad St. Louis Cardinals team is about to win its first game ever at the current Yankee Stadium! Yanks just can't seem to dominate the teams they're supposed to beat. I don't think St. Louis is a bad team, more like average. |

He came into this season so highly heralded, but my understanding is he pitched poorly in AAA. Don't know why they went with him anyway. He's on the 40 man roster, the other options aren't. Looking at some of the Yankees relief pitchers, finding room on the 40 man roster shouldn't be an issue for the Yankees. |

Boone's gonna continue going to garbage ass Leiter because Cashman isn't going to want to admit both of the clowns he traded for to "help" the bullpen were epic busts.

Ok, I jumped to my laptop for awhile, but that was unworkable.
I haven't used it since April and there are multiple updates to download and it'll take too long.
So I'm back on my desktop for the end of the game
Still losing 8-1 top 8.
The situation with my desktop is that I'm pretty sure the fan on my video chip has died and it's taken me forever to figure out what it is, so my video chip locks up when I have multiple video intensive pages open, like website with a lot of ads and popups. And I'm having to reboot it from lockup every couple of hours. I could spend a couple of hundred bucks fixing it, but I think I'm just going to buy another computer; this one is 3-4 years old anyway.
I'll stay with you guys until the end of this one, then go shopping on the internet for a new computer, then spend awhile downloading my key files on to some memory sticks for the transfer to the new computer.

Lefty Liberatore in for the Cards, Torres works the count to 3-2, then grounds a single up the middle, in between the shifted Winn and Donovan to almost the normal shortstop position on the left of 2nd.

Hard grounder down 1st, but Goldschmidt is on the bag holding Torres, he steps on 1st, gets Torres in a rundown, he stays alive for awhile, then gets caught diving back into 1st, and he might have hurt his left hand getting tagged out while trying to get safely back to 1st.
