Volpe takes a slider high, then a FB up and in, 2-0
Gets a FB above and inside middle, and misses, fouling it back. Arg.
Chases a slider outside, nubs it foul, 2-2
FB at the top in the middle, fouled straight back.
Sinker up in the zone, Volpe nubs it back to Mikolas, who looks at Rizzo, decides late to take the out at 1st, throws wide of 1st, and it gets away from Goldschmidt, got his footwork tangled a bit, and didn't catch.
1st and 3rd, nobody out for, unfortunately, Verdugo.

I think that's it for Mikolas.
John King the lefty, to pitch to Soto, Judge and Wells, unless sometime kills the inning with a DP ball.

Soto is 1-3 vs. King with a RBI, a BB, a K and 1 GIDP.
Judge got him for a RBI single the other night, his only at bat vs. King.
Wells is 0-1 vs. King.
