I whine because I whine sometimes. Not because I like it. I also worry because that's my nature.
1-1 on Donovan. Fb high, 2-1
Swings early trying to pull a slider at the bottom 2-2.
FB inside corner ties him up some, soft grounder to Volpe behind 2nd is the 3rd out.
Bottom 8, 12-7 Cards.
Volpe, Verdugo and back to the top for Torres for the Yanks in the 8th.

Takes a slider on the corner away, 1-2
Waves at another going well outside, back to the bad happen of opening up early and lunging late. K, 1 down.

Hanging slider in the middle, Verdugo misses just under, flies out to deep right center, Scott catches near the track, 2 down.

Torres takes a FB high, ball 1.
Takes a sinker inside, gets a bad call, 1-1. 0% on Gameday, about an inch or two off the plate.
Sinker dives inside, jamming Torres, he pops to Scott in shortish left center, inning over. Yanks go 1-2-3 against a quality set-up guy.
Top 9, 12-7 Cards.
