Are they using juiced balls for St. Louis's hitters?

Change hits the corner away, taken. Above the waist, 3-2 Same pitch, and it didn't look like anything off the bat, but it carries to deep left center, and Judge goes back...and watched it go into the ambulance runway for a 2 run HR, 14-7 Cards. I didn't think he hit it nearly that well. Looked like a flyout to medium deep left center off the bat.

"Starting depth" They just keep coming up with new stats. They could just say what McCarver always used to say, especially on opposite field extra base hitd: "He was caught playing too shallow".

Scott works the count to 2-1, then flies out to Verdugo in short left, 1 down.

It’s really grinding my gears that the Yankees have been in this malaise since mid June. With a wide open AL this season the pennant is there for the taking. If there’s a silver lining to all of this it’s the fact there’s the whole month of September to get out of this funk. Unfortunately as of right now the way this team is playing they would struggle against the hapless White Sox.

I am very negative today. It started with no Domiguez call up and ending with a bullpen and defense meltdown! You're whiny & negative every game. Pretty sure you were the same on the YES board. One of the reasons I rarely participate in the game threads.

Winn takes a slider below and inside middle, 0-1 Takes a FB at the knees, 0-2 Takes his timeout. Takes a slider way low near middle, 1-2 Things that make you go hmmmm...Fb at 96 hits the corner away, Winn late, fouls it off. Didn't now Marinaccio could still throw that hard. Slider at the knees, outer half, Winn frozen, ꓘ's, 2 down.

Burleson gets a change near middle, slaps it toward the shortstop spot, Volpe was moving toward the middle before the pitch and it goes behind him, has no chance, 2 out single.

I'm sorry, that's smiley-face BS, YES guys. Yanks are 7 games under .500 (if this score holds) since mid-June, 66 game now. This team DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASSUME IT'S BETTER THAN ANYONE RIGHT NOW, EVEN WEAK TEAMS. They've BEEN a weak team for almost 70 games. The orioles were 37-19 on June 1 Yankees 41-19 Guardians 39-19 Royals 35-25 Seattle 33-27 Astros 26-33 Since Orioles 41-40 Yankees 38-38 Guardians 39-40 Royals 40-37 Seattle 36-40 Astros 48-29 Astros seem to be the only team that has had a good last 3 months. So I don't get statements like this when the other teams are being just as mediocre. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Arenado... Takes a FB on the corner inside up in the zone, 0-1 Takes a change to the same spot, 0-2 Takes a FB up and away, 1-2 Slider winds up down the middle, but he fouls it. Slider backs up inside, was supposed to be away, fouled. FB on the outside corner waist high, foul tipped into the mitt, K, inning over.
Bottom 9, 14-7 Cards. Soto, Judge and Wells for the Yanks' last licks. With the 7-run lead, the Cards will not waste Helsley here, but go to maybe their 4th or 5th best reliever, the righty Ryan Fernandez.
