The look on Boone's face while he was waiting for Weaver to come to the mound said it all. The manager can never relax.

If it is just a cramp, that's still very intelligent by Cole not to aggravate it. Maybe shoulda had more water, though.

Nice to get some revenge on Chase Anderson after that start in COL last year where he shut them down even though he had 1 win on the year.. They said earlier that the Yanks hit 5 HR's off him in one inning when he was pitching for Toronto. lol. I don't ever remember that. Me either all I remember is him coming into that game in Colorado with an inflated ERA and one win on the year and shutting the Yankees down giving up 0 runs. Yankees came back in that game after he left (multiple times actually they took the lead), but Holmes and the bullpen gave up multiple hrs in the late innings and extras leading to a walkoff loss and the Yankees went under .500 the rest of the season from there.

He was grabbing his calf. Hope it's just a cramp, please just be a cramp. Looks like a cramp with it being Texas weather and stuff. Hopefully just that we've had enough injury BS in Texas Rangers stadiums...

Weaver ready to pitch. Jung steps in... Fb imsses outside at the knees, by 2-3 inches, Weaver gets a break, called a strike anyway, 0-1, 0% on Gameday And doesn't take advanage, FB above the knees, inside middle, lined back at him, he dodges but it goes into center for a leadoff single.

Let's hope the bullpen maintains the lead after a great start from Cole.

Langford... Takes a FB 3 inches low near middle, 1-0 Cutter yanked 6 inches outside thigh high, 2-0 FB at the knees, in the middle, taken, 2-1 FB just outside thigh high, late and fouled off the right side, 2-2 Change dives down and in, taken, 3-2 Challenge up by 6, prospect pedigree or no.

We've seen that movie far too many times.
