FB below middle, just missed late and under, flies out to Langford in the corner in left, just short of the track, inning over.
Marinaccio was warming, I assume he gets the 9th for the Yanks.
He'll face 5-6-7, Lowe, Jung and Langford, at least.
Bottom 9, 8-3 Yanks. Let's see if we can leave Holmes out of this one, Ron.

Lowe leads off.
Lowe starts off by taking his timeout. Hill stays in the game to pitch to the lefty.
Timeout came while HIll was delivering, wiped out.
Sinker in the zone down and in, taken for a strike.
Sinker below middle, fouled. Bad location.
FB at the knees, maybe. Not called. Kay says it missed outside, I guess they really can't see anything up where they are, it was right down the middle. 40% on Gameday, anyway, bad call.

Jung gets a FB below middle, fouls it off the right side, 0-1
Sinker outside corner, goes with it through the right side, sort of. Grounded to the 2nd base spot, but both Rizzo and Torres shifted playing Jung to pull, creating a hole where there usually isn't one. 1 out single for Jung.
And bit my tongue, because Boone had other ideas, wants Holmes to get work in a game where the Yanks lead by 5 in a non-save situation.

Holmes pitched on Friday but just 8 pitches and had three days off in row before. So getting him some work to stay sharp.

Heim grounds a sinker diving outside up the middle, but Volpe is right there, throws him out as Jung scores and Langford to 3rd with 2 down, 8-4 Yanks.

It wasn't a save situation when Holmes came in, but it is one now as the tying run is on deck.
