Lowe fouls off a poorly located change below and inside middle, 0-1 Swings under a 94 FB a bit above the waist, 0-2 FB well high, 1-2 FB inner 3rd, late and under, flies out to Verdugo in in short left. Inning over.
Top 8, 10-2 Rangers.
If anyone still cares: Soto's 38th HR: 102.7 mph, 350 feet, 25° launch angle, a HR in 22 of 30 MLB parks.

well I thought Marinaccio should have been with the big club all season, I guess not! So did I, but every time he gets a chance, he doesn't do anything with it.

Soto takes a cutter up and in. 1-0 Pennington, the lefty who won last night, in the game. Sinker on the inside corner, pulled through the 34 hole pastadivingLowe for a single, 3rd hit tonight for Soto.

Well, at least Baltimore lost to the lowly White Sox. That's the good news of the night.

Judge takes a cutter outside, ball 1. Sinker down the middle, fouled off, missed another cookie there. Cutter inside and below middle, fouled, 1-2 Takes his timeout. Cutter inside, near the top, ties him up, hits a soft liner but goes right to Jung on a line, 2 down. Sigh.

Chisholm takes a cutter outside middle for a strike. Slider inside middle lined down first but right to Lowe, and Soto barely beats him back to 1st to avoid the DP. Festa coming in to pitch to Stanton.

This is Matt Festa the reliever and not Dave Festa, the Twins' rookie starter.

well I thought Marinaccio should have been with the big club all season, I guess not! So did I, but every time he gets a chance, he doesn't do anything with it. The arm injuries have robbed him of top velocity all but a few nights. His stuff won't play topping out at 93-4. When he was best in his rookie season, he could throw 96-7-8 most of the time. It shouldn't matter a lot, but with Marinaccio, it does.

Bochy making a pitching change in an 10-2 game. Maybe he took the Rangers giving 7 runs...

Stanton falls behind 1-2, then misses a FB down the middle, near the top of the zone for the K, inning over.

Bottom 8, 10-2 Rangers, and if I were Soto, I'd demand a trade.

Yes, my post saying that was cutoff by a bad connection. Stanton takes a strike, then pops to Duran at 2nd. Those Bronx Zoo Yankees were the first baseball that I started watching, they'll always be favorites of mine. RIP Jim Spencer. They were my first champion Yankee teams, though I started watching in 1967.

Bickford in for the Yanks. Falls behind Garcia 3-1 straight away. Fb inside middle, fly ball to left, Ellis (in for Verdugo) moves toward the line, catches, 1 down. Grisham is also in for Judge.

I have all their ball cards in my basement.
