Back leg slider almost hits him on the back leg, 3-2.
FB thigh high, inside middle, hit hard down to Chisholm at 3rd, he takes his time making sure, throws him out, 1 down.

Can somebody please teach these guys how to field? It's a Brian Cashman built team. Their best 2nd baseman is playing third and their best RF is usually in CF but is the DH tonight. |

Tries to bunt for a hit down 3rd, too close to the mound, Rodon fields, wheels throw wide to the 2nd base side, but a good stretch by Rizzo saves the out, 2 down.

It's Soto's responsibility...always. An IF NEVER calls an OF off... Except when they do, which we've seen from both Gleyber and Volpe multiple times this season. An IF continues to try to make the play until he's called off, which is the OF responsibility. Soto apparently never said anything... |
