Torres is 3-5 with 2 K's vs. Jansen. All singles.
Takes a slider outside, ball 1 Takes a cutter outside middle, 1-1 Cutter near the top, fouled off, 1-2

Cutter starts at him, misses up and in as Torres leans back, 2-2 Cutter at the top of the zone again, outside middle, tries to pull it for a HR, misses under it and K's, inning over. 1-2-3 for Jansen in the 9th, just 9 pitches, so he might get the 10th too.
Abreu, Rafaela and Duran for the Sox in the 10th, Casas should be the ghost runner, but they might pinch run somebody. Valdez, I would think, if they do it.

Boone's going to bring in Holmes with a runner already on base. That always works out well. For the other team.

Kahnle gets a key out without the Manfred Man advancing, but here comes Cardiac Clay.

Abreu goes after a change tailing outside, thigh high, popped to left, Dominguez moves toward the line catches, Casas holds 2nd. 1 down.
And now, Holmes comes in because, well, I guess they think he's the best they have left. Weaver? Maybe not.

And why take Kahnle out now? Lefty/Righty, it doesn't matter, he's a better option than Holmes.
