Durbin can hold down the fort at 3B, but I don't think he has the arm to play there daily. 2B is his most "natural" position. But he has dabbled in OF play. 2B, occasional 3B, Of, maybe even a few innings at SS…First base if they put him on stilts… 🤓 Definitely versatile, but 2B is his best position. We'll see if Yankee fans use the same derogatory terms for him as they do Altuve.

Too much is made of height.

And we don't even need to go back to Wee Willie Keeler at 5'5".

I think 5'6" is a "stretch"...pun intended.

I mean I'm 6'4", I'm not a short guy being defensive. Plenty of great short ones out there.

Can't imagine any player calling Raines a dwarf to his face...even if that meant squatting down to do so.

Jimmy Wynn..."Toy Cannon". Good one. What a player. David Eckstein was another rugged small guy. One of the few players that Sarah knew immediately was 5'8" Kirby Puckett. Okay, now we need to put together the all-time MLB short roster!
