Cashman wanted more hit and miss in the bullpen, which is what Leiter gives you. Unfortunately, for each four strikeouts he gives up a home run. In Pinstripes anyway.

Meanwhile the Mets are crushing the Phillies 10-0. They've been the best team in baseball for over three months now after a horrible start. Signs of a GOOD general manager. Who did they get at the deadline/what did the gm do ? I haven't followed them closely enough. |
