What was the HR that he gave up? I don't even remember. In the Series against the Cubs, I think. Trying to remember.Edit: No!! It was the HR Bird hit off him, when no one thought he would against a tough lefty. Gave the Yanks a 1-0 win in game 3 of that series. He did give up a HR in Game 7 of the 2016 Series.

Bello throws a sinker BEHIND Judge, just to "retaliate". OK, Judge just shrugs it off. Sinker dives just inside, called a strike anyway, missed by 3 inches on Gameday, 0%, bad call, 1-1 FB runs inside, makes him jackknife. If he hits Judge now, that's an ejection and a suspension. Sinker misses well low, 3-1 Sinker backs onto the low/outside corner, 3-2 Sinker winds up just outside, and Judge stays with it, lines it, but off the end of the bat, liner goes to right center, but Duran is right on it, catches, 1 down. 109.6 off the bat.
Sox bring one of their lefties for Wells, Chisholm, and if necessary, Dominguez and Rizzo. Bailey Horn is the lefty du jour.

How could I forget that one? There was a time when Greg Bird was thought to be the best of the Baby Bombers. Unfortunately, Bird was born with feet of clay, not able to keep his lower half healthy. Much like golf, one bad tweak to overcome a deficiency can lead to a series of mechanical problems and then the mental aspect burns down the rest.

Important, but not critical, and I'm sure Paulie was thinking of the Bird HR.

Cutter low in the middle, 1-0 on Wells FB at the top in the middle, 1-1 Takes a slider low, 2-1. Fb thigh high in the middle, bounced to the left side, and Devers goes down and...whiffs on it. Should be an E-5.

Chisholm takes a FB outside, 1-0 Takes another inside. Horn missed by the whole plate as Jensen was set up outside. FB yanked low and maybe outside, 3-0 Tries a get-it-over FB and plain misses inside, ball 4.
Dominguez up, and we're waiting for him to get a big hit. He hasn't had one since being recalled. Good time for one right now.

Miller was on the Indians and Chapman on the Cubs and the Yankees traded both of them to those teams the one year they were a seller. They still have Gleyber to show for it.

Mound visit by Jensen.
And we're still waiting. FB outside middle should be hammered, but a grounder to 2nd, Valdez tries his best, but they can't turn two on Dominguez, 1st and 3rd, two down for Rizzo.

Rizzo... FB above and inside middle, 0-1 Cutter 6 inches outside, taken, 1-1 FB on the high outside corner, hit sharply up the middle, but Story is playing him to pull, fields, stumbles a bit, but still has plenty of time to throw Rizzo out. Inning over.
Top 7, 7-1 Sox. Yanks offense AWOL with RISP again today. 1 for 5 with 6 LOB, and the team hasn't really hit in over a week. One explosion in the 1st game vs. KC, and the Judge grand slam last night is about it. They've stayed in games on good pitching.
Well, not today. But they've scored 26 runs now in the last 8 1/2 games.

I don't know who'd win in a foot race between Rizzo and Stanton, but Rip Van Winkle could be waiting for them at the finish line.
