Trevino started today against the righty Crawford basically because the Yanks wanted to use the day off to get Wells almost 3 days off from Saturday afternoon until late Tuesday evening in Oakland.

Change misses low, inner half, 1-1
Change dives outside, taken, 2-1
Change off the plate away, Cabrera goes with it perfectly, slaps it through the open 56 hole for a 2 out single
If nothing else, Oswaldo clears the pitcher for the 7th.

I think Oswaldo needs more playing time, either at SS or 1B since Volpe and Rizzo are doing nothing at the plate. |

Very tough slider off the 98 FB, hits the high outside corner for the ꓘ. Great sequencing there and great command. Trevino thinks it's a FB going high, outside corner, but it bends into the top of the zone, very tough to deal with, unless your name is Soto. Or Devers. Or a hitter like that.
Top 7, 4-2 Yanks.
Rafaela, then back to the top for Duran and Gonzalez. Whoever pitches the 7th needs a 1-2-3.

Slider up and in, grounded softly, but it finds the 56 hole, gets by Chisholm's lunge to his left for a leadoff single.

Hill will come in to face Duran and at least Gonzalez, and maybe Devers.
