Sinker in a bad spot down the middle, Polanco lifts it down the line in right, Soto makes a late lunge, goes down, catches, gets back up, fires in, then falls down in some pain.
On replay his left knee hit the wall making that catch. Please don't be seriously hurt, Juan. It's OK if you come out of the game, Juan. I'm good with that.

Looks like he's staying in there. Boone is triple-checking, telling him to come out if he needs to. Soto stays in.

Arozarena tagged and moved to 3rd on the foul catch. Yanks are challenging whether Arozarena tagged back at 2nd? Or whether he came off the bag with the tag on him. Or are the M's challenging whether it hit the wall before going into Soto's mitt?
Whatever the challenge is, it's giving Soto more time to recover. Or the bumped knee to swell up.

If there's interference by the fan, batter is still out and Arozarena has to go back to 2nd.

Not sure there's a clear angle. Weird. It didn't hit the fan. But it skimmed the wall I think. There is no scenario under which the M's wind up with 1st and 3rd and 1 out jeff. Call of a catch stands, as does Arozarena going to 3rd.

Sinker down and in, taken, 0-1 Slider on the outside corner above the knees, taken, 1-1 Slider above the low outside corner, chopped to Rojas at 3rd, 1 down, Stanton avoids the Sombrero.

Boone gets back on the hearse, uh, I mean the horse. Holmes in to pitch the 8th. At least there's no chance of a blown save here.
