FB above the zone in the middle, popped foul off home to the 3rd base side, Langeliers goes for it, but Schuemann comes racing in to call him off, catches, 1 down.

Judge misses a FB on the outer 3rd, 0-1
FB at 101 just outside middle, just late and under, pops foul near the RF bullpen, Butler comes in and left, catches, 2 down.

FB maybe got a tiny piece of the corner down and in at 101, not called. Broke the catcher's mitt, he has to replace it.
FB just out of the zone up and away, fouled off 2-1
Chisholm's never face him before.
FB well low near middle at 102, 3-1
FB at the top in the middle at 101. Chisholm takes a huge rip, late and under fouled off.
You'll never catch up to him that way, Jazz.
Slider down and in, Chisholm starts, and MAYYYBEEE checks in time, 3rd base ump says no swing, ball 4.

Doesn't go, and FB into the zone up and away at 102 for the K.
The good news is they used enough pitches so that he's likely not staying in for the 19th.
The bad news is they have to get to the 10th for it to matter.
Miller used 14 pitches to get three outs.
He has gone 2 innings 7 times in 51 games, but with a day off yesterday, he pitched the 2 days before that.
Bottom 9, 1-1
Schemann, then back to the top for the dangerous Butler and Rooker.
Cole will start the 9th, at least.

Slider hits a piece of the corner away, not called, 10-20% on Gameday.
FB up in the zone, grounded to the 56 hole, Volpe backhands and throws on the move, it's on target but low, but Rizzo with the excellent sweeping scoop saves the out. Fine play at both ends.

Good change with two plane movement low/away, early and over it, 1-2
Backs it up with another change!! This one in the middle going low, and Butler reads it as a FB down the middle, swings early and over it, K, 2 down.
