Hamilton looks like he's still made about that one bad pitch in the 8th.

Kahnle will come in to pitch to Mullins and Henderson.

I think I heard that the Yanks are last or close last in base running in MLB. It's a trademark of Boone-led teams. The Yanks are last in baserunning runs at Fangraphs at -16.7 runs. But it's not TOOTBLANs, or caught stealings. It's a lack of steals, and a lack of advancing bases on hits, they're dead last in both, I think.

A walk, a bloop, and a blast will do the trick.

Mullins takes a get it over sinker at 91.7 in the zone down and in, 0-1 Change near middle, hit high and deep to right, Soto goes back to the track, catches, 2 down. Thought he had that one.

Change way outside, 1-0 on Henderson. Change tails outer 3rd, takes it, 1-1 Change dives low and outside, taken, 2-1 Bad change down and in, he pulls a rocket down the line but well foul, 2-2 Change misses high and outside by a couple of inches, 3-2 Same change down and in on the pitch before the last, again pulled hard down the line, out of play, but not as foul as that one. Sinker misses outside by a bit, Wells starts to walk off the field, Henderson fires the bat away and walks to first. Gameday says Henderson and the ump are correct, 0% by 2 inches outside.

Rutschman takes a change above middle for a strike Takes a change diving low and outside, 1-1 Change dives well outside, thigh high, 2-1 Change in the zone down and in, swung over, 2-2 Takes his timeout. Change outside, slapped off the end of the bat, but the soft liner goes to Chisholm playing him to pull, well off 3rd, inning over.
Bottom 9, 5-3 O's Should be Seranthony Dominguez coming in to try to close it out, he's 9 for 11 in saves for the O's, has allowed 6 HR in 20+ innings with Baltimore.

Dominguez mostly FB 98 and slider 87, both about 40%, also throws sinker 98 about 18% and a rare change at 91.

Chisholm, Rizzo and Volpe for the Yanks.
Soto stays in for Chisholm and Rizzo, which I should've expected.

Sinker inside breaks his bat, he rolls over to Westburg for the 1st out. Way to take a pitch, Jazz.

Sinker on the low inside corner, Rizzo tries to golf it, fouls it off, 0-1 Sinker about 6-8 inches outside above the knees, taken, 1-1 Sinker hits the outside corner waist high, taken, 1-2 Slider near the low outside corner, choke-up spoil swing, stays alive. FB misses just outside at 99, Rutschman tries to pull it back, no sale. Soto wanted the call, but it was 0% on Gameday by about 2 inches. Sinker tails inside waist high, Rizzo lays off, 3-2. Good sinker inside corner ties him up, but he spoils it down. Sinker taken high, ball 4. Great job to get the tying run to the plate. Volpe is the tying run Now Hyde goes to Dominguez. Cabrera pinch-runs for Rizzo.
