FB clips the outside corner at 97.6 not called, and 20% on Gameday, Verdugo gets a break.
FB misses 2-2 inches high, 2-0
FB down the middle at 98, Verdugo is late and under, pops it to left, if it comes down, he's out.
It comes down, Cowser catches, game over, Yanks lose 5-3.
O's wrap up the season's series, 7-4, and keep the Yanks from clinching the East, also cost them in the best record battles.
Guardians won and are now just 1 1/2 behind.
Phils also lost so the Yanks stay 1/2 game behind them
Dodgers up on the Padres 1-0 in the 1st. If they win, they're 2 up on the Yanks with 5 to play, but really 3 because they hold the tiebreaker, having beat the Yanks 2 of 3 at the Stadium in June.
Yanks drop back to 26 over .500 at 92-65, and the O's are 5 back with 5 to play, and the Magic Number stays at 1.

Bullpens were used a lot on both sides, but Yankees didn't have to use their closer so hopefully that helps tomorrow.
