Tries to back a sinker into the high inside corner, O'Hearn takes it for ball 1.
Slider misses down and in, 2-0
Cutter just barely on the inside corner, pulled foul off 1st, 2-1
Back leg curve gets by Wells, back to the screen, scored a wild pitch moving Santander to 2nd with 2 down.
Slider on the back door, barely, O'Hearn thinks it's ball 4, drops the bat, starts to take off the elbow pad. Has to git ready to hit again, and it was 10% on Gameday.
And the Yanks would've been better off if it was ball 4, because
the cutter high is knocked through the mostly open left side to Chisholm's left for a single, Santander beats Verdugo's throw home, and it's 2-0, Orioles.
And now, both halves of Coney's Schmidt hyperbole are wrong.
His stuff isn't dominating and his pitchccount isn't very good.

Judge, Wells and Stanton get their 2nd look at Kremer in the 4th.

Sinker more or less down the middle, late and under, fouls it off.
Swings over a splitter diving two-plane to the low inside corner, 2-2
Bounced splitter, taken, 3-2
That splitter goes down, but not far enough, stays thigh high, inside middle, and Judge belts it out to left, solo HR gets the Yanks back in the game, 2-1, O's!!

Sinker low, tapped to the left of the mound, Kremer races for it, falls down, throws from the ground and still gets Wells. Outstanding play by Kremer, 1 down.

FB almost down the middle, missed it, fouls it.

Splitter to the knees outside middle, he's off balance and pops it to short right, Santander comes in and toward the line, catches, inning over.
Top 5, 2-1 O's.

Urias, Mullins, then back to the top for Henderson for the O's in the 5th.

Big breaking slider below middle, but Urias can't connect, pops it foul halfway down to 3rd, Chisholm comes in, calls off Wells, catches, 1 down.

Nice! Just did a family trip to Ireland/Scotland in summer '22. Probably my favorite travel destination. Enjoy! Thanks Donnie! We've been to Edinburgh before, but not further north into the Highlands and Isle of Skye like this time. Of course it's pretty modest compared to your Grand Tour of Asia this summer. But it will be great. Be sure to let us know where to get the best Haggis!  |
