Humps up to 95, hits the high outside corner with a FB, swung under for the K, 1 down.
He's going to have work to get better batting righty, or he'll be sitting against lefties next year, in the 2nd half maybe.

I'm torn between... If Boone brings in a pitcher instead of Warren, would they be rallying here? Or... If it's still 6-4, Chapman starts the inning and gets Cabrera, Berti and Dominguez 1-2-3. Maybe it's just genius stragedy by Boone to get the rally started before Chapman can appear. And a belated good, if dreary, afternoon to you, pres. |

I ain't paying Torres half a billion dollars either. If you want Soto's bat, the glove, the legs and the smarts, or occasional lack thereof, come with it. Soto is a great httier...but he ain't a great ballplayer. Sort of how Ted Williams was the best hitter of his generation but Joe D. was the best ballplayer. For half a billion, I want a great ballplayer. |
