The game I went to at the stadium this year we lost 5-0 and only hit weak balls. The crowd was dead and not into it at all. I guess it's a carryover from that game for me. I just got a little quiet at Petco, lol.

I can't believe the starting pitchers are still in there in a 6-5 game in the 5th inning.

Yes they have been...I'm still thinking the first 2 games in the Yankees-Royal series didn't show us the real Yankees because of that 9 day layoff. I hope the real team that won 94 games in the regular season, finally shows up from here on out!

I wondeer how entertaining fans in Philly or LA feel the postseason is ? Like us, those are fan bases that are not thrilled having just made the postseason. Anyone monitor fan sites for those teams ?

They may not like the results, but I'm sure they find it entertaining. As a fan of the game, I'm enjoying both NL series. OK with either the Mets or the Phillies winning their series; definitely pulling for the Padres. In the AL pulling for Detroit for a few reasons, including the fact they're the underdog and came out of nowhere to make the playoffs. Let's go Yanks.

I think Philly fans are used to their bullpen imploding during crucial moments. It's been happening for years.

The only problem with this team has been the inconsistency! The Mets have been on an exciting run...not sure how long it's going to last... but I'm happy for those fans!

The Yankees finished with the 3rd best record in MLB, behind only the Dodgers and Phillies. But somehow before any world series title is won the grass is greener on the other side?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The animosity between the Dodgers and Padres does seem to be a little more than just rivalry. As for the other BL series, I think David Stearns might be the best investment that billionaire who bought the Mets ever made !!!

The animosity between the Dodgers and Padres does seem to be a little more than just rivalry. Absolutely. San Diego has played second fiddle to Los Angeles for quite a while. It's a rivalry that's as strong as Yanks-Red Sox, if not more so. It's been the primary objective of the Padres and their fans to "slay the dragon" for a very long time. I've been to Petco when the Dodgers were in town several times. It's intense...uber intense.
